NORA GAIR
Dry Land
by Ruby Rae Spiegel
directed by Lucy Gale and Cassie Hartmann

Quadramics and Front Row Theatre Cos.
Philadelphia, PA

Ester is a swimmer trying to stay afloat. Amy is curled up on the locker room floor. Dry Land is a play about abortion, female friendship, and resiliency, and what happens in one high school locker room after everybody’s left.

NOTE: As this was a college production, for actor comfort and safety, no pictures were taken of the climax of the play, in which an actor undergoes an abortion/miscarriage occurs on stage, where most of my work as an intimacy and sensitivity coordinator was focused.
